Ana Salas Siegel

Ana is the CEO and Founder of GESA Globalist Ventures, PLLC. Having transitioned from a successful corporate career, she now offers fractional general counsel services, risk management, and business consulting services to clients seeking comprehensive immersion and strategic insight into their businesses

Ana is a former General Counsel and business strategist with over 25 years of experience managing global legal and business functions.  Most recently, Salas Siegel served as EVP & General Counsel for NBCUniversal Telemundo Enterprises where she worked closely with C-suite executives leading complex businesses, managing risk, and evaluating new markets, key investments, and strategic partnerships.  Previously, Salas Siegel served as SVP & General Counsel at Fox Latin America Channels where she developed a deep experience in the international commercial transactional space as well as in developing and leading teams of international attorneys.

Ana holds a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and a law degree from Harvard Law School complementing her vast hands-on industry transactional experience including overseeing complex corporate transactions, international due diligence and M&A, licensing, intellectual property, digital media, litigation consulting, risk management, government affairs and compliance. Drawing upon years of experience at the intersection of law, media/technology, and international business, Salas Siegel provides clients with tailored solutions to enhance their competitive advantage, manage legal complexities, and capitalize on industry trends.

Ana has received a number of honors and recognitions for her legal work, including most recently, Powerlist GC Miami in 2024; Inspiring Women in Media, Business Advisor to Chairman by Campaign US in 2023; General Counsel of the Year by Women, Influence and Power in Law in 2021; Counsel of the Year by the Association of Media and Entertainment Counsel (2020) and Cablefax’s Most Influential Minorities (2018-2021) and Most Powerful Women (2018-2022).

Ana’s civic activities include serving as a life member of the Council on Foreign Relations as well as on the boards of the International Women's Forum of Florida and the American Red Cross of Miami and the Keys and the External Advisory Committee for the University of Miami’s Institute for Advanced Study of the Americas.  She also serves as an adjunct professor of media & entertainment law at the University of Miami Law School.
